Flat feet insoles for children
Flat feet, commonly known as platfus, is a very common foot deformity and affects a very large number of children. It consists of a lowering or complete loss of the arches of the foot leading to pain and various foot and joint lesions. In addition to a postural defect visible to the naked eye, longitudinal flatfoot can lead to various painful conditions, significant stress on the knee and ankle joints and inflammation or tearing of the Achilles tendon. The most common causes of this type of flatfoot in children is excessive foot loads resulting, for example, from overweight, reduced muscle tone or inappropriate footwear.
